Great Conclusion to the Magnus Pack Trilogy
In the third entry of the Magnus Pack trilogy, Angelina - the fashionista who loves watching men fight over her - has been kidnapped by Siberian tiger shifters after being attacked by hyena shifters and dragged across several state lines, away from her friends (who are her family) and her wardrobe. And she's not at all sure which of those piss her off more. The bumbling brothers who took her dump her off in the bed of their older brother who is not only the brains of the family outfit, but also the gorgeous hillbilly that sets Angelina's pulse to racing, Nikolai Vorislav.
I've really enjoyed the Magnus Pack series and Here Kitty, Kitty doesn't disappoint. Laurenston's got a gift for writing uber-alpha males who are more than matched by uber-kick-ass females, and I have to admit, Angelina and Nik are my favorite pairing in the series. Angelina's not at all a nice girl, but then again, the philandering Nik isn't all that nice, either - together, though, they're fantastic. The fresh look into the cat shifter lifestyle is interesting and very different from the wolf pack we'd been introduced to in Pack Challenge and Go Fetch on just about every front...as different, in fact, as cats and dogs. Go figure.
Laurenston's writing is full of fun and sex and strong characters that make me laugh...and pant...in equal measures. There's not a huge underlying plot, really, and what is there is a bit on the anemic side. The books are more light reads than in depth paranormal romance, but go in knowing that and enjoy the ride!
