The Wolfe Proxy by T. D. McKinney & Terry Wylis

Genre: LGBT - M/M Contemporary Romance
Series: N/A
Formats: The Wolfe Proxy, The Wolfe Proxy

The Wolfe Proxy4 Stars
You Find Love Where You Least Expect It

What do you get when you start with one party-hard-and-sex-it-up-often, openly gay sculptor, add an exceedingly perky and seemingly airhead sister and a straight manly-man best friend, then shake it all up with a single minded and work-focused conscienceless playboy and what do you get?

Believe it or not, an incredibly endearing love story. A story of growth and redemption, of healing and hope, trust and burgeoning maturity layered with the depth and scope of eternal love.

Max and Quint are two flawed men who start to realize that only through their love can they buff away those flaws and shine together. That realization comes slowly, sometimes painfully, but when it does, it's an emotional triumph.

I enjoyed Wolfe Proxy immensely, though I thought the beginning was slightly contrived and the story didn't start growing on me until Max and Quint really started to get involved. Until then, I actually thought they were both exceptionally despicable. I should've trusted T. D. McKinney and Terry Wylis, who write wonderful and deeply emotional stories together. I recommend The Wolfe Proxy and if you like a bit of paranormal in your M/M romance, I also strongly recommend Portrait of a Kiss if you haven't read that one yet.
